The Origin of Linguacast

The inspiration for Linguacast arose back in the Spring of 2005 from observation of students using ipods and mp3 players listening to and/or downloading their favourite music. We have applied this to educational learning resources; specifically at this site, language learning audio/video resources delivered via RSS to suit the pace of the individual student, anytime, anywhere.
